Camping & Golf Questions
Do
you have
a printable brochure or copy of your rules?
Yes. They can be downloaded here.
Are you open all year?
Yes. Southern Oregon has sunny warm
summers and it typically doesn't rain from mid June to mid September.
The winters are usually in the 50's or 60's with intermittent fog and
rain. It may snow on the valley floor once or twice a year, but
typically it doesn't stay on the roads and is usually gone by nine or
ten in the morning.
Do you rent by the week and month?
Yes. Our seasonal daily, weekly,
and monthly rates are posted on our rates page.
What travel clubs do you give
discounts to?
We give discounts to Good Sam, AAA,
AARP, Escapee, and FMCA.
Do you have any other specials?
In addition to seven (7) nights for
the price of six (6). Winter rates are $10 per night for all spaces Nov
thru April.
Are reservations recommended?
Yes. We recommend reservations from
April through September. Other months might have space available
without reservations but it is always better to reserve.
Can we get mail at On The River
Golf & R.V. Resort?
Yes, mail is delivered daily and
can be picked up at the office.
Do you have a pool and/or clubhouse?
We have a club house with
fireplace, exercise equipment, board games, and kitchen facilities.
Sorry, we don't have a pool, but the Umpqua River is delightful in the
Summer and Early Fall.
Do you allow open fires or barbecue
pits?
We have a few fire pits and have
firewood for sale if needed. We do ask that you keep camp fires in
these rings to a size that doesn't endanger other campers or the
beautiful forest that surrounds us.
Do you have a designated pet area?
Yes, pets have an area specifically
set aside for use within the park and we ask that you clean up after
them (including cats).
Are you on the river or do you have
access to it?
We are located on the banks of the
beautiful Umpqua River, with 4,000 feet of river frontage. Fishing,
Swimming, Tubing, Gold Panning and all other non polluting river
activity is allowed.
The river is both
beautiful and natural, and as such there are hidden hazards which may
include swift currents, submerged logs, rocks, and eddies. While we
encourage you to use the river, we also encourage you to use it safely.
We ask that an adult always be present with children in or around the
river, and that the "Buddy System" of two persons be used at all times.
Life vests are always a good idea in any waterway.
Can we wash our R.V. or vehicles?
There is a vehicle wash area in the
park. Vehicle washing is not allowed in your campsites.
